Carrillo
Carrillo Connecting rods were founded by Fred Carrillo in 1963. Fred approached the challenges of manufacturing with the idea of no compromise. He knew the never ending quest for speed would require the same desire in component manufacturing. This Carrillo philosophy is as evident today as it was at Carrillo’s conception in 1963.
Quality and pride go hand-in-hand at CP-Carrillo. Manufacturing a CP-Carrillo Porsche rod is much more than cutting and forging, meeting production goals and shipping deadlines. The design of the Porsche connecting rods has evolved into a collaboration of skilled specialists. Every connecting rod is a symphony of precision: material specialist, forging precision, production craftsman, design engineers and engine specialists each contribute know-how and artistry.
Cp-carrillo's fastener assembly lube is molybdenum based lubrication grease with enhanced properties.
This product offers an improved clamp load repeatability, greater resistance to high pressure and temperature (range -22f to 1200f), and no oil contamination. The coefficient of friction stays unchanged, even after several connecting rod bolt re-tightening and loosening processes.
We highly recommend lubricating the connecting rod bolt head and thread with this lubricant.
Be sure to add it to your order if you are replacing your rod bolts.
Sold individually.

Fits:
Porsche 911 2.4L
Porsche 911 2.7L
CP-Carrillo connecting rods are fully machined from a proprietary 4330m alloy forging for strength and durability. Rods are available with 2 types of bolts: The standard WMC-H7 (H11) bolt with a UTS of 220ksi and our upgraded CARR-S7 (MP35N) bolt with a UTS of 285ksi. The CARR upgraded bolt is a good choice if planning on revving the engine higher than 8500rpm.
All our bolts are manufactured with asymmetrical threads, each thread has a slightly different design than the previous giving the bolts an evenly distributed thread engagement. This helps increasing the clamp load and fatigue life of the fasteners

X series pistons are designed to fit the air cooled Porsche 911 engines including 3.0 Liter SC, 3.2 Liter Carrera, 3.6 Liter and 3.8 Liter RSR.
Manufactured from 2618 alloy, the pistons utilize a narrow pin boss forging and come with heavy duty pins for extra strength. Pistons include full 3-D under crown milling, normally only found on custom pistons, insuring the lightest possible piston. Each piston features anti-detonation grooves, accumulator grooves, double pin oil with broach, our wire lox system with installation tool and a set of CPN rings, consisting of gas nitride top ring with napier cut second.
X style forgings covers 4 bore sizes ranging from 95 MM, 98 mm, 100 MM and 102 MM. This complete package is the most modern available for the vintage 911 engine.

Porsche 964 3.6L Carrera
