Parts For Cayenne 9YA 2018-2023

About Cayenne 9YA 2018-2023

Unveiled online on August 29, 2017, the third-generation Porsche Cayenne marked a comprehensive overhaul from its predecessors, built upon the new Volkswagen Group MLB platform. Production commenced in 2017 for Europe, designated as model year 2018 onward, while the USA and other global markets received it as a 2019 model year and beyond. Identified as the 9YA, it offers two primary body styles: the 9Y0 for the traditional SUV and the 9Y3 for the newly introduced Coupe variant.

With the third generation, any notion of the Cayenne being a rugged off-roader faded away. Instead, it embraces its identity as a luxury-centric SUV tailored for performance on the road. Visually, the latest Cayenne achieves a pinnacle of refinement, boasting a handsome and modern appearance. Inside, the cabin receives a thorough update, featuring clean lines, organized layouts, and a plethora of tech amenities and touchscreens, creating an inviting environment for occupants.

Under the hood, the engine lineup sees revisions, predominantly comprising forced-induction V6 and V8 powerplants, seamlessly mated to a near-flawless 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. While coil spring suspension remains standard across all models, an optional active air suspension is available, excluding the Turbo variant where it's standard. Noteworthy is the introduction of four-wheel-steering as a new-for-2019 option, enhancing the Cayenne's maneuverability at low speeds and stability during high-speed maneuvers, akin to systems found in performance-oriented Porsches like the GT3.

The Cayenne maintains its array of advanced technologies, including PDCC, PASM, and PSM, offered as options or standard depending on the model. Furthermore, enhancements such as an electronically locking active rear differential and torque vectoring contribute to superior performance and traction in various driving conditions.

In 2020, Porsche expanded the Cayenne lineup with the introduction of the Cayenne Coupe, aimed at competing with a wide array of crossover and SUV offerings from competitors. The Coupe variant, essentially a fastback rendition of the standard Cayenne, boasts sleeker aesthetics. Available versions encompass most of the standard trims and powertrains, culminating in the Cayenne Coupe Turbo S E-Hybrid, delivering an impressive 670 horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque, capable of sprinting to 60mph in just 3.6 seconds.

The GTS model made a comeback in 2021, now featuring V8 power with twin-turbochargers. Later, on June 30, 2021, Porsche unveiled the Cayenne Turbo GT version, propelled by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, claiming a blistering 0-60 mph time of just 3.1 seconds.
