DesignTek exhaust system for the 997.2 features high quality and tuned mufflers in addition to the high flow Xpipe in the kit. The exhaust has been tuned to produce an incredible race tone without a lot of drone found in similar designs. The exhaust fits with the DesignTek dual exhaust tips or stock tips.

Since this retains the primary catalytic converters, there are no check engine light or emissions issues.
The entire exhaust is 304 stainless steel and polished to a show finish. It uses the OEM mounting points and hardware. With this DesignTek exhaust system, you have the choice of either no tips or our aftermarket matte black or polished Carrera tips.

Original Porsche “Switchable” Valve Sports Exhaust System

The typical Porsche sound – powerful, robust, sporty. Better still, it can be further enhanced using this sports exhaust system. The sound varies with driving behavior, ranging from a robust out put during normal road driving to a distinctively more aggressive tone during performance use.

The mode of the sports exhaust system is selected using a button in the centre console, if this button is not already pre-fitted in your car you will need to order this with us by providing the chassis / VIN number when ordering.

The package includes:

- One Centre Muffler
- Exhaust straps clamps and wiring

Sports Exhaust VALVETROINC + X-Pipe Design Sports Cat bypass Package

DesignTek Valvetronic sports exhaust system gives smooth 15Bhp/17 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels with the valves opened, +8HP/10 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels with the valves closed. Made from high quality 14-16 gauge T304 stainless steel, hydro-formed muffler cases, radiuses stressed relieved with 2000 degree ceramic fiber and stainless steel wool packed free flow mufflers.

DesignTek X-Pipe (primary muffler bypass) deletes the stock primary muffler and saves 6.4 lbs. from the rear of the vehicle. With a fast air flow the X-pipe increases BHP and Toque.

Made from high quality T304 14-16 gauge stainless steel, C.N.C. mandrel bent. The X-Pipe (primary muffler bypass) gives a great exotic car sound and power by about 5 decibels.
