The double-adjustable KW competition racing suspension systems are primarily designed for use in most motorsport, such as slalom events, hill climbs, road rallies, longdistance races and driver training on the legendary nordschleife, the northern loop of the Nürburgring. They are notable for their outstanding price/performance ratio and their ease of use. In addition to the complete solutions listed below, we also produce customer-specific racing suspension systems. For production car motor sport and for the driver with sporting ambitions we also offer these motorracing solutions with a TÜV certificate, or supply the appropriate certification for individual approval.

The suspension systems are classified according to the purpose for which they are to be used, and are listed under „Circuit“ or „Rally“ in the application list. The racing suspensions designed for „Circuit „ enable the vehicle to be lowered by 50-100 mm, and cannot under any circumstances be used for racing cars that permit only a standard height or minimal lowering. These suspension systems are designed to be used for slaloms, hill climbs, cuit-racing events and long-distance races, but also for racing driver training and tourist drives on the northern loop of the Nürburgring. The suspension systems listed as „Rally“ are designed for an adjustment range around the standard vehicle height (+/- 25 mm) and can be used for both Group N cars and rally cars, (please note: these shocks are not designed to run an hard gravel stages).

The triple adjustable KW competition racing shock absorbers and racing suspensions are designed for professional motor sport, requiring a well-founded knowledge of racing car suspension. We offer solutions for every area of motorsport (rallying, circuit racing, slalom, hill climb) and for every vehicle. The shock absorbers can be produced in a large number of different casings, aluminum, as well as various guide technologies (plain bearing or linear ball bearing solutions). In addition to the complete ready developed and successful solutions employed worldwide, we can produce almost every type of shock absorber and suspension system to the customer‘s own specifications.

The suspension systems are classified as with the doubleadjustable suspensions into Circuit“ and „Rally“. There are, however, some solutions
developed for particular race series. (e.g. DTC, DPM, ETCC) The design of the suspension struts is indicated in the table. Essentially we differentiate between the upside-down MacPherson strut designs that are either fitted with standard plain bearings and are 40 mm or 45 mm in diameter, or our special linear bearing products with shock absorber casings that are 40 mm in diameter. There are also coilover shock absorbers with adjustable spring plates, for the use of racing springs and single, unthreaded shock absorbers.
