The 6061 CNC Machined arms are anodized in our beautiful brilliant blue color and notched for easy adjustment. Each spherical bearing has CNC machined stainless steel fittings for a secure and safe fit.

DesignTek Rear Adjustable Toe Link Kit for Porsche 996 / 997

Porsche suspension line up, the Rear Adjustable Toe Links. The stock suspension of the Porsche is a great start, but lacks a lot to improve cornering, adjust proper camber, and dial in the toe. These adjustable toe links are design to give you a more responsive rear end along with the ability to dial in the toe on the rear end more precisely then stock. The CNC machined links are made from 6061 aluminum. They are anodized blue. The rod end is a 3 piece Teflon lined design for extreme durability and longevity for street and race cars. The steel bolt is also specifically machined for this part to fit on to the wheel carrier without any hassle. The opposite end that goes to the chassis of the car includes 2 brass spacers and works with the stock alignment bolt. Each link includes a multisided flat to easily adjust on the alignment rack or at the track.

The links are sold as a pair for the rear of the car.

Anti Roll Bar Drop Link Rear CNC Alloy "DesignTek"

With performance handling in mind, DesignTek has released their all new Performance Rear Sway Bar Links for the Porsche 996 Carrera 2 and 4.

Why sway bar links? The factory sway bar links utilize a simple design, ball joint and thin connecting rod. This style of links can be found on several makes and models of different vehicles. However, for the purist, the hardcore driver, and the weekend racer, these factory links are not enough. One of the first performance modifications you make in handling is the sway bars to assist with over and under steer. During aggressive driving scenarios, these factory links will flex and create a non rigid feeling. The DesignTek Rear Sway Bar Links for the Porsche 996 will change this immensely.

These rear end links are made of high grade 6061 CNC machined aluminum. The link maintains the same thickness throughout the length giving it a very strong structural integrity. The spherical bearings (monoballs) are used instead of urethane bushings for longevity as well as reduced noise. The bearings are sealed to prevent from wear and tear caused by dirt, water, mud, etc. Each bearing is held in place with a C clip to allow easy maintenance if desired. All hardware is stainless steel to prevent from rust and long term corrosion. The stainless metal collars are designed to give the link the correct alignment when attached to the shock body and sway bar. Each bolt uses an allen head for easy installation. Not only standing out in your rear suspension setup, but offering you an edition that will truly enhance your handling performance.

Anti Roll Bar Drop Link Front CNC Alloy "DesignTek"

When setting up the suspension on your Porsche Turbo or Carrera, being able to dial in a good corner balance and weight alignment will give you the best handling possible. As well, when you are upgrading suspension components, getting rid of any rubber bushings or ball joints for spherical bearings will enhance the vehicles response. Since these cars are all wheel drive, the front sway bar is under a lot of force and when properly setup, the stiffness of the bar can take a great toll on the factory sway bar links or those included with aftermarket coilovers.

DesignTek has released these adjustable front sway bar links for the Porsche 996 Turbo and Carrera models. The sway bar link features a CNC machined aluminum turn buckle that has a slight bend for clearance purposes. The precision machined part features spherical rod ends on either side with opposite threads for on the fly adjustments. The 3 piece Teflon lined rod ends include CNC machined steel spacers which fit the 10mm and 12mm steal bolts. Both of these pieces are done in a black oxide finish to protect themselves from the weather elements.

Unlike the factory part which is long and mounts near the bottom spring perch, these shorter, beefier sway bar links mount from the sway bar then connecting to the hub carrier where the shock slides through. These sway bar links fit with most aftermarket sway bars and coilover setups. For those running GT3 sway bars on the 996 C2, these are required for fitment. They are sold as a pair and include everything needed for installation

These non-adjustable lower control arm bushings eliminate the unwanted caster changes while the car is under acceleration and braking. The DesignTek® lower control arm bushings are made from 6061 T6 aluminum to help stiffen the Porsche suspension without adding road harshness to the interior of the car. The RSS lightweight underdriven crank pulley is designed for Porsche owners who are looking for a easy bolt-on 7-10 rear wheel horsepower. The CNC machined pulley fits all Porsche 987.1 Boxster and Cayman cars. The idea of the underdrive pulley is that it will reduce demand that the stock pulley puts on the power steering pump at high engine revs. Not only will this preserve the longevity of the pump, it will also improve performance, throttle response, and give the track racer a car to be confident in. Since the pulley is lighter then stock, the rotational weight reduces load on the engine slightly. This pulley kit includes the removal and install tool in addition to a new bolt for easy install. What size serpentine belt to run when using an under drive pulley?

The stock serpentine belt length for a 986 Porsche Boxster or Porsche 996 with air conditioning is 2115mm Porsche part # 996 102 151 64. If you remove the air conditioning but keep the stock drive pulley you will need a new serpentine belt that is 1930mm in length. If you then decide to add an underdrive pulley in the range of 4.25 to 5 inches in diameter you will need a belt 1905mm in length. For those of you who would like to add an under drive pulley with air conditioning, the proper length is 2101mm.
