Complete restoration kit for the 2 front seats of all Porsche 911 and 912 models from 1966-1973 with standard seats (OEM specification). This kit is available with plain, basketweave or 'Pepita' (Houndstooth fabric) center section, in Porsche Nappa leather or classic vynil. Headrests covers (standard for ‘72-‘73 models) are not included in this kit, but can be ordered separately.The seat restoration kit is probably the best you can buy for completeness, originality and fit. The kit includes everything you typically need to bring your front seats back to factory new condition; all front seat covers and correction foam for seat base bolsters.Our hand crafted front seat covers (2 back rest and 2 seat base covers), match Stuttgart factory specifications step by step; from the finest Porsche Nappa leather with basketweave embossing for the center sections (if required), colour coded vinyl, top quality calico backing material, exact specification pleat filling, right down to the piping cord and the high resistance yarns we use. All hides are precision cut, piping bound and pre-formed to guarantee a factory authentic fit.The kit is delivered with correction foam. This allows you to correct the worn sides typically found on the driver's side seat bolster. Bear in mind, that a significantly deformed or decomposed seat base can only be restored with new cell foam. New seat base cell foams are not included as part of this kit.The seat restoration kit comes with easy to follow step-by-step installation instructions and pictures. Installation requires no specific tools and is comfortably within the ability of the moderately experienced home mechanic.Because of fading of the original material and colour differences between dye lots, we offer the front seat restoration kit in Black only. Springbox reinforcement kit for the 2 front seats of all Porsche 911 and 912 models from 1966 – 1973 with standard seats. Contains 8 high resistance coils, 2 hoursehair panels and correction filling.The seat base of your Porsche 911 ’66-’73 is of the spingbox type. Extensive use and age will cause the coils to loose resistance and break. This reduces the support of the seat and will overstretch your seat covers causing them to tear and crack. When replacing your front seat covers it is recommended to install our front seat reinforcement kit. Pair of ready-to-install headrests for all Porsche 911 and 912 models from 1966 – 1973 with standard seats, remanufactured to exact OEM specifications. This is NOT a cover, but a complete and beautifully engineered assembly trimmed in Porsche classic Skai or leather as required.Our headrests are probably the best you can buy for originality and fit. The headrest tilting mechanism is an exact replica of the original recaro design. The cell foam around the tilting mechanism is molded to the exact same shape and density of the original. We can cover the headrests with the original Porsche Classic Skai or Porsche Nappa leather. This guaratntees a perfect match with our front seat restoration kit.Installation requires no specific tools and is comfortably within the ability of the moderately experienced home mechanic. Headrests were standard for ‘72-‘73 models but wil fit all ’66-’73 Recaro comfort seats with headrest guides.
