DesignTek Race Diverter Valves (Pair) fot Porsche 996 Turbo and 996 GT2.

One of the most important upgrades for the Porsche 996 or Cayenne Turbo is to replace the factory Bosch diverter valves. The factory valves are prone to leaking pressure under increased boost when the car has an upgraded ECU flash. As well, the factory Bosch valves will taper boost off with the diaphragm design even at stock boost levels. To help keep the boost pressure constant all the way to redline, upgrading the stock diverter valves to the DesignTek Racing Diverter Valve Kit will improve your cars overall performance.

These valves are CNC machined 6061 aluminum which have been precision engineered to fit with the stock or aftermarket F-Hose and intake return hoses. The internal construction of the valve uses a machined piston with proper o-rings to ensure a smooth motion that is air tight to prevent any boost leaks. The spring has been engineered to hold moderate to aggressive boost increases on the 996TT and Cayenne vehicles. The valves feature a 90 degree removable swivel connection for easy fitting with the factory vacuum hose. If needed, the top of the valve unscrews allowing you to re-greased and service the valve. As tested, these valves are a great upgrade for stock K16 or K24 cars and have even been used in our 700HP turbo kits. Valves are sold as a pair for the 2001-2005 Porsche 996 Turbo and 2004-2007 Cayenne Turbo.

Following the resounding success of our direct replacement valves for other OEM applications, we have just completed development and testing of a pair of direct replacement bypass valves specific to the Porsche 996 twin turbo application.
These direct replacement units utilize full billet aluminum construction and a piston based design that has proved successful throughout our entire range of application specific and universal valve products. Viton brand high temp silicone o-ring are used for sealing of the piston and the valve cap, Mobil1 fully synthetic bearing grease for lubrication of the internals, and a proprietary spring rate is used to handle the widest possible range of boost pressures.
The low-profile cap incorporates a swiveling center section that allows for 360 rotation of the vacuum nipple for ease of fitment. This also allows for quick disassembly of the valve without requiring removal from the vehicle should servicing of the internals be required. In addition we supply a replacement silicone hose that is capable of withstanding greater temperatures and pressures, often associated with tuned or track use vehicles.

DesignTek Race Adjustable Blow Off Valve for Porsche 996 Turbo / 996 GT2

DesignTek has a brand new Blow Off Valve solution for the Porsche 996 Twin Turbo cars. The Porsche like many European cars has a sensitive MAF. Running a 100% vent to atmospheric valve on most stock or mildly tuned vehicles will cause check engine lights and vehicle performance issues. Since the stock Bosch plastic diverter valves leak boost and robs you of power, DesignTek has developed this single Blow Off Valve kit to give you the best boost consistency and sound out there. Having dual diverter valves is not necessary as the F-Hose is straight through so both valves get the pressure equally. The DesignTek Blow Off Valve has an upgrade spring and piston design to handle up to 50psi of boost! The valve has an adjustable top to help set the stiffness of the spring depending on your vehicle setup. Whether you are running .7bar or 1.3bar, the valve can give you optimal boost consistency. In addition to being adjustable, the valve can be setup in 3 different configurations. You can set it up as a full recirculation like a stock valve, full 100% atmospheric for high horsepower race cars, or even 50/50 for street cars wanting that Blow Off Valve sound.
The Valves are made from CNC machined 6061 aluminum with nylon washers and a brass piston to keep movement and air venting for the life of the car. Each body has a adjuster knob is triangular for easy grip. The single Blow Off Valve kit works on all Porsche 996TT from 01-05 and fits in the stock or aftermarket DesignTek F-Hose.

Each kit includes 2 plugs for the factory holes and new worm clamps. Additional plugs or horns can be purchased separately.
