The 95B.2 Macan GTS made a triumphant return to the lineup in 2020 following a hiatus. Its twin-turbo 2.9ltr V6 engine now churns out 375 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, offering a thrilling driving experience. While speed is crucial in a crossover with sporting aspirations, what truly sets the GTS apart is its handling prowess, reminiscent of a true sports car.

In terms of tech upgrades, Apple CarPlay now offers wireless connectivity, available as part of the Premium package or as a standalone option. Furthermore, the designated Smartphone Compartment option now includes wireless device charging, enhancing convenience for tech-savvy drivers.

Porsche underwent a mid-cycle facelift on the Macan GTS in 2019, resulting in significant improvements across the board. The highlight is the introduction of a brand-new engine, a 2.9ltr V6 employing a "hot-vee" architecture for its twin-turbocharging system, with the turbos positioned inside the V of the engine.

With 380 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque on tap, the new powerplant outshines its predecessor by 20hp and 20Nm, delivering heightened responsiveness and exhilarating performance. The sports exhaust system has been expertly tuned to complement the facelifted Macan GTS, further enhancing its dynamic character.

While the front end retains a familiar appearance, the rear undergoes extensive redesign, aligning the car with Porsche's latest design language. Notably, the individual rear taillights are now unified by a sleek light bar, akin to the Cayenne. Emphasizing its GTS lineage, the front and rear aprons boast black painted design elements, a hallmark feature across all Porsche GTS models, irrespective of the car's colour.
