Design 911 were asked to supply the Gumball3000 with special modified Porsche cars which were to be driven celebrities Xzibit (Signer / Rapper / star of Pimp My Ride USA) Cypress Hill / Bun B, (R&B/Hip Hop performers). Design 911 also took part in the 3000 miles trip from London to New York.

The Gumball 3000 is an annual 3,000 mile international road rally which takes place on public roads, with a different 3,000 mile route around the world each year. Founded in 1999 by Maximillion Cooper, it sees an annual entry of 120 cars, which are mostly exotic and powerful sports cars. However, more unusual entries, such as police cars and campervans, have been seen. The Rally is not a serious race in the traditional sense of Rally races – there are no prizes for being fastest or official timekeeping of any sort. Organizers emphasize that it is a road trip adventure and not a race….. The Spirit of the Gumball !

The 2010 Gumball3000 rally left London on 1st May before taking in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, then flying all the cars and participants to the USA and then driving to Boston, Quebec City and Toronto before rounding off in New York, seven long days and even longer nights. Big name celebrities like Xzibit, Cypress Hill, DJ Mugs, Eve, Tony Hawk all took part in the rally. Design 911 where asked to supply the celebrities with special modified vehicles for the entire leg of the rally, Europe and USA.
