OE Match – Preserving Porsche One Part At A Time

By Tom on Wednesday, January 25, 2023

Introducing OE Match, a new brand from Design 911 that aims to preserve Porsche.

How? OE Match is remanufacturing many no longer serviced OEM Porsche products for all models up to the 997 generation to ensure that the parts remain available to Porsche owners all over the World.

With close to two thousand part numbers already catalogued – catering for a wide variety of components, from gaskets to suspension hardware, engine apparatus, interior trim and everything in between – OE Match aims to supply an array of parts from small to large.

But the brand isn’t stopping there and they are continuously developing new lines. At this very moment in time, they have well over 100 new products being engineered for them which will then be QC tested and introduced to their catalogue.

With an ethos built on keeping all Porsches on the road with access to thousands of parts that resolve numerous issues spanning a wide range of Porsche generations, it is clear OE Match has big ambitions for the future.

As Martin, the Design 911 Operations Manager, says, “our ultimate goal is to be at the top of the Aftermarket for Porsche parts. Right now we are focusing on keeping our stock at the right levels and that we are happy with everything that goes out the door to our customers.”

Now, with plenty of components available – the most popular of which being their range of ignition coils, water radiators and engine mounts – OE Match seeks to build rapport and trust with individuals within the automotive community, whether they are specialists or casual consumers.

Martin tells us, “OE Match is focused on gaining trust within the automotive community and building strong relationships with our customers. A satisfied customer is a returning customer.”

When questioned about the establishment of the brand Karl, the founder of OE Match and Design 911, said “owners and professionals alike get rightly frustrated by not being able to complete work on an older Porsche because of a vital component missing from the manufacturer’s currently available catalogue of spares for legacy models.”

“We have been working hard to identify gaps in what’s on offer and to remanufacture previously absent parts to OEM standards,” Karl continues.

Already having a wealth of affordable parts to keep your Porsche on the road, it’ll be exciting to see what the future brings for OE Match.
