Porsche 997 & 986 Boxter Steering Rack Fault

For the Porsche 996 (1997-2004) and the 986 Boxter(1997-2004), there is a fairly common fault which can cause owners some difficulty. Often Steering Rack Problems are caused by a leak. When faced with this problem, many Porsche owners opt for getting their power steering refurbished, this is effective but expensive. If you examine the pipes and find that they are the source of the leakĀ (as they commonly are) there is a much cheaper solution.

The source of the leak is often from the piping attached to the Steering Rack, so why burn money replacing the whole unit when we can get replacement pipes delivered to your house. These pipes are affordable and a rather quick solution to what could otherwise be a frustrating and costly problem.

You can order Replacement Pipes from us here. For everything else Porsche, please visit our website: www.design911.com

PLEASE NOTE: The replacement pipes are suitable for right-hand drive cars only. The replacement pipes are made of copper coated steel pipe and feature zinc plated nuts. We advise that customers apply additional corrosion protection before fitting. All of our pipes are brand new and suitable as a direct replacement for your existing pipes.
