By special request of the Autosport International and Pistonheads show organisers, Porsche Club GB will be providing a spectacular display of some of the best 911’s in the country. This is of special significance as we move on from 60 years of Porsche.
The Display, entitled ‘Evolution of the 911′ will be supported by Porsche Cars GB and Design 911 and is to include 25 very special 911s – the icon of performance motoring since 1963. Among them will be a rare (and expensive) 2.7 RS, a GT1, a GT2 and a GT3 RSR, together with 21 other fine cars showing the progression from the earliest 911s t the latest 911 incarnation in the 997 generation 2.
This will be a fascinating display and prove, beyond doubt, that all 911s are not the same.
In addition to the ‘Evolution of the 911′, Porsche Club GB will have the backing of Design 911 in proving a Club stand the envy of other clubs at the event. Our area will be backed by the bespoke Porsche Club Motorsport Race Centre and flow out into a Members’ Plaza including further notable Porsches, with racing cars and budget Porsches highly featured.
Representation at the stand will include.
• Porsche Club Motorsport – Your opportunity to sign up for some of the best Porsche racing, at all levels, available in and outside the UK. The Porsche Club Championship winning 944 will feature in the display
• Porsche Club Track Days – not just any track day
• Porsche Club Le Mans ’09- the best catered for, best camping experience available at Le Mans , bar none
• Porsche Club Shop – a great array of Porsche Club clothing , accessories and merchandise
• Design 911 – Our stand sponsors will be delighted to discuss its extensive range of Porsche upgrade packages, services and accessories with you.
The ‘Members Only’ Plaza will allow Club members to ‘take a load off’ and enjoy a relaxed chat away from the melee of worlds largest Motosport exhibition. If you are not a member, you will be able to join on the day.
