1.<\/span>\u00a0 Open the software to begin the installation process and click next<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2.<\/span> Click install to continue<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

3.<\/span> The software has been successfully installed<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4.<\/span> This is what the IT-Console icon will look like on your desktop<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Before opening the software you must firstly connect the<\/p>\n

V-switch via the USB cable to your PC<\/p>\n

Then follow the instructions on the next page to install the device driver<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5.\u00a0<\/span> Select, locate and install driver software (recommended)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

6.<\/span> Now click on the option at the bottom of the screen to search other options<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0 <\/span>Windows will not automatically recognise the cable in most cases<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Select browse my computer to tell windows where to look for the driver<\/p>\n

8.<\/span> Choose the option: browse<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

9.<\/span> Select: Computer \u2013 Local Disk (C:) \u2013 V-switch<\/strong><\/p>\n

Make sure the\u00a0DesignTek IT-Switch is highlighted in blue and then select \u2018OK\u2019<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

10.<\/span> The driver is now successfully installed<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

11.<\/span> Now open the software from your desktop<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When the console has opened up you must select \u2018link\u2019<\/p>\n

12. <\/span>When the communication has completed it will bring up the vehicle selection screen<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

13.<\/span> Now select your vehicle (example: VW Golf IV 130pd TDI)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

14.\u00a0<\/span> The console is now programming the device to read your car<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

15.<\/span> Once the device has been programmed you will need to select the language<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

16.<\/span> The device is now ready to use<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Now go and read the original file from your car<\/p>\n

17.<\/span> Press down on the device to highlight \u2018Read file from ECU\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Press \u2018Y\u2019 to continue to the read process<\/p>\n

18.\u00a0<\/span> Follow the on screen instructions to continue<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Now return to the computer and connect via the USB cable<\/p>\n

19.<\/span> \u2018Link\u2019 to device and select \u2018Read ORI\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

20.<\/span> Select a location to save the original read to and name it<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

21.<\/span> Then send to sales@ppcgb.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Open up a new e-mail and attach the file as shown below,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Original reads that are sent need to include,<\/p>\n

Vehicle Manufacturer: Vehicle Model: Vehicle Engine size:<\/p>\n

Current Vehicle Mileage: Vehicle Registration:<\/p>\n

Any Engine Modifications:<\/p>\n

If the original read is sent without the above details filled in , Mod files will not be returned.<\/p>\n

22.<\/span> When you receive the mod files back, you need to \u2018link\u2019 to the\u00a0DesignTek IT-Switch and \u2018Upload MOD\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now you may return to your vehicle to begin tuning<\/p>\n
