Just another day at the office for Porsche Carrera GB driver Tony Gilham.\u00c2\u00a0It&#8217;s 3pm he&#8217;s\u00c2\u00a0getting ready,putting on his helmet and saftey\u00c2\u00a0gear.He&#8217;s ready\u00c2\u00a0to take on the challange of 34 laps at speeds of 130mph around the world famous grand prix circuit Brands Hatch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.design911.co.uk\/uploads\/blogs\/porsche_cup3.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche carrera cup \" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a great line up, a starting grid of 19 anxious drivers,\u00c2\u00a07 excited teams and dozen&#8217;s of even more excited sponsors. The grandstands are full with motorsport enthusiasts.\u00c2<\/p>\n<p>The pro&#8217;s,Tim Bridgeman, Tim Harvey and Micheal Caine take postions 1 , 2 &amp; 3. Gilham starts this round of the Porsche Carrera cup in grid position 13, he has his work cut out for him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.design911.co.uk\/uploads\/blogs\/porsche_cup2.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche carrera cup \" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The tension is rising as the lights turn from red to green&#8230; go go go as all 18 cars dive for the first corner, Gilham manages to jump a few places before the first corner, great start as he gets in to P9.\u00c2<\/p>\n<p>The saftey car is called out halfway through the race as Geddie and his team mate clash. The race continues Gilham chasing Lawson as the clock ticks away only 2 miniutes until the chequered flag, Gilham makes his move overtaking Lawson on pit straight, Lawson holds his line, a slight touch and in the blink of an eye &#8230;..<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.design911.co.uk\/uploads\/blogs\/porsche_cup4.jpg\" alt=\"porsche carrera gb\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Gilham&#8217;s car number 34\u00c2\u00a0spins out of control hitting both sides of the pit straight, Red flag&#8230;. and\u00c2\u00a0it&#8217;s all over, Bridgeman takes 1st place followed by Tim Harvey and Caine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.design911.co.uk\/uploads\/blogs\/porsche_cup1.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche carrera cup gb brandshatch\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>\u00c2\u00a0Just a bad day at the office<\/em><\/strong> !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.design911.co.uk\/uploads\/blogs\/porsche_cup.jpg\" alt=\"orsche carrrera cup Brandshatch\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Porsche carrera cup GB continues.
