The 991.2 GT3 based special edition made its debut of the 2018 Paris Motor Show designed as another 70th-anniversary edition to the manufacturer&#8217;s current lineup.<\/p>\n<p>This car is the 991&#8217;s swansong before Porsche move onto the next generation, and it sure looks like to make for a grand final curtain call. It has been ten years since Porsche has produced a car with the speedster title, and this edition looks unlikely to disappoint.\u00a0Powered by a 4.0-litre flat-six from the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 RS, the $274,500 Speedster will get individual throttle bodies which are supposed to aggressively sharpen the response of the engine\u2019s claimed 502 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque.<\/p>\n<p>If you manage to purchase one of these cars, you will also be lucky enough to receive the Porsche Design911 Speedster Chronograph.
