The Porsche 997’s release saw numerous aesthetical and internal improvements upon what the already successful – but slightly controversial – Porsche 996 had initially brought to the table.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the biggest changes on the 997, and criticisms of the 996, was the interior.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where the inside of the Porsche 996 was eccentric and broke the mould of classic Porsches, the 997 was revised to resemble something you would expect of a typical 911 but without the associated bulk.<\/span><\/p>\n

The initial Porsche 997 included things such as leather upholstery straight out the box, an in-built sat-nav, climate control and electric windows, and, on top of having all-around better features than the 996, the 997’s interior also felt far, far more luxury orientated.<\/span><\/p>\n
