Angus\u2019s deep-rooted connection with motorsport and Porsches began at a young age. He reminisces, \u201cMy motorsport has been in my family for all my life. I went to my first race when I was six weeks old, supporting my dad, and I started racing Porsches with him in 2003.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his decision, Angus explains, \u201cIt\u2019s always been my passion, and when I left school, I had the option to go and get a job and earn the money to do it, hopefully, do it, or get your hands dirty and actually do it. And that\u2019s the option we went with.\u201d<\/p>\n

AMS Porsche started as a dedicated specialist focusing on Porsche 996<\/a> \/ 997 engine rebuilds, garnering a reputation for their expertise in M96 and M97 engines.<\/p>\n

Angus shares, \u201cNow we\u2019re just taking on more and more and trying to cater for everyone with every Porsche.\u201d To meet the diverse needs of their clientele, AMS Porsche ventured into car sales, particularly emphasising 996\/997 models.<\/p>\n

Angus further explains, \u201cWe\u2019ve worked historically with a lot of car traders, and during the COVID times, the sales seem to really pick up for them, and we sort of jumped on the bandwagon a bit with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

We literally have a daily delivery from them, supplying parts for all the cars we service, maintain, and a lot of the Porsche engine<\/a> bits we use as well across all the models.\u201d<\/p>\n

They\u2019re not racing drivers, they\u2019re driving their car on the road and they want to enjoy it and they want it to hold the road as it should, even better than it should with improved geometry setup and what have you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Angus emphasises the significance of this facility, stating, \u201cWe have a satellite storage facility up the road which is very secure, and we store some of the more high-value cars there that perhaps don\u2019t get worked on or they\u2019re not in everyday use, so they\u2019re out of the way. We also store our sales cars up there.\u201d<\/p>\n
