How to Use the Design911 Website to Find the Right Porsche Parts

We’ve been working behind the scenes to make the Design911 website better than ever — easier to navigate, faster to search, and smarter when it comes to showing you exactly what fits your Porsche. Whether you’re shopping for a restoration project or just replacing a worn part, here’s a quick guide to help you get the most out of the site.

Logging In (or Creating an Account)

Head to design911.com and click the login icon in the top-right corner.
If you’ve shopped with us before, just enter your email and password. New customer? You can either set up an account at checkout or continue as a guest — your choice.

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your initials at the top of the page.

Set Your Preferences First

Before diving into the parts, take a second to set your preferences — it’ll make everything smoother:

  • Pick your language

  • Choose your currency (pounds, euros or dollars)

  • Set your location — this one’s important for accurate stock info

Click “Save Choices” once you’re done. Simple.

Tell Us What Porsche You Drive

To show you the right products, we need to know what you drive.

  • Select your model and variant from the menu

  • Click “Save Vehicle”

From here on out, the site will only show you what fits your car.

Browsing Parts by Category

Use the menu on the left-hand side to explore. Whether you’re after brakes, lighting, suspension, or accessories — it’s all grouped clearly.

Click into a category and browse away.

Change How Products Are Displayed

Prefer a different layout? You can view:

  • One item per row

  • Four across

  • Or eight at a time for quick scanning

Use the filters to narrow by brand, then hit “Apply”. To remove a filter, just click “Clear Filters”.

See Alternatives & Upgrades

When you’re on a product page, look for the “Alternative Products” tab. This is where you’ll see similar items or upgrade options if you’re weighing things up.

What the Stock Colours Mean

We’ve added helpful coloured dots to show stock availability:

  • Dark Green = In stock and ready to ship

  • Light Green = In stock at another warehouse, so might take a bit longer

  • Yellow = Out of stock, but we can order it — we’ll show you the lead time

  • Blue = Already on order, with estimated delivery time listed

If you’re in Europe, your order will come from our Dutch warehouse. UK and international orders are handled from the UK. Make sure your location is set correctly so the stock status is accurate.

Using Porsche Part Diagrams

If you’re working on something more specific — like finding bolts, clips or small internals — our diagrams are a great tool.

Click “Shop with Diagrams” on the homepage, pick your car’s category, then zoom into the diagrams. Everything’s clickable, and if there are multiple part options, we’ll guide you through them.

We currently cover most models up to 2017 and are always adding more.

Know the Part You Need? Use Search

You can also search using the bar at the top of any page. Enter a part number or something general like “brake disc” and we’ll return the best matches.

Adding to Basket & Checking Out

Once you’ve found your parts:

  1. Hit “Add to Basket”

  2. Click the basket icon in the top right to review your order

  3. Adjust your delivery country if needed

  4. EU businesses can enter a valid VAT number at checkout to remove VAT

  5. When you’re ready, proceed to checkout
