Momo Steering Wheel Black Leather Kit

Every time you get into a car, you always touch one thing. The steering wheel. And why not make sure it is the right one. Here at Design 911 we aim to offer the best possible options for someone who is looking to upgrade their steering wheel. Our new Momo Mod.07-wheel kit is one of the best options for someone who wants to level up their interior game. The deep-dish design is perfect for a driver who wants maximum control, and this is helped by the yellow 12 o’clock marker, so you know exactly where your steering wheel is when you are on the track. This small splash of yellow adds some colour to an already monotone wheel, but this yellow continues, as the Momo logo is also painted in this striking yellow.

All Momo steering wheels are handcrafted in Italy and built using high grade aluminium and leather, so you always know you are getting a quality item. The leather is also glued to the rim instead of stitched which makes the leather seamlessly wrap around the wheel providing the driver with as much grip as possible. MOMO was started in 1964 by race car driver Gianpiero Moretti, he got the idea for the brand when he commissioned a local craftsman to produce a steering wheel for his race car, ever since then the brand has been known for producing some of the best steering wheels in the industry. This high-quality wheel goes hand in hand with the race bucket seats, a must for any driver who wants the best performance out of their 911. We also supplied these seats to the owner, and we must say they fit the Oem + style of this 993.

This steering wheel and seat combo go hand in hand with this model of 993. The 993 Targa was introduced for the 1996 model year. When the covers were pulled off the car many Porsche fans were shocked by the new design Targa. It featured what was deemed the “Greenhouse” roof system, which was a retractable glass pane that slid under the rear glass, that worked like a large sunroof. All Targa models up to this point had the classic T bar design. This was a bar that travelled over the body, replacing the B-pillar, these models had removable roof panels, an inconvenience that you did not need to worry about on the 993. This Targa was powered by the same engine that appeared in the C2 and C4 model 911s. The 3.6 litre air cooled flat 6, an engine that was the last of its kind as after this came along the 996, the first 911 with water cooling. The 996 was one of the most controversial 911s ever. One of the reasons was because of this engine, and 2 was the styling. Many thought it looked too much like its younger brother the Boxster, which really made the 993 the last of its kind and because of this was adored by many. The car has also been fitted with 3-piece wheels, an addition that gives this car a stance it would normally be missing.

If you are interested in this stunning steering wheel kit, you can buy it on our website! We offer full fitting instructions on how you can fit this to your very own 911. This steering wheel also fits the earlier 964, another car that is worthy of a steering wheel upgrade.
