Which brake pads do I get in my order?

We supply Original Equipment Quality (OEQ) brake pads. Porsche as a company do not manufacture brake pads they are brought in from companies like TMD Friction who own brands like Textar and Pagid. ATE is also another major supplier to Porsche for brake components and brake pads.

Should I have original Porsche brake pads?

Most modern day car’s brake pads are manufactured by TMD Friction for a particular car manufacture and put into their own brand packaging. We can supply the TMD Friction brands (Textar & Pagid) direct to our customer, saving them money.

Are the brake pads the same as Porsche ones?

The Original Equipment Quality (OEQ) brake pads are made from the same materials and compound as the ones made for Porsche, so you will get the same original equipment quality.

Why do I get different brand?

We are constantly buying and selling stock, brake pads and brake disc is one of our fastest selling products. Manufactures & suppliers find it difficult to keep up with demands so one week we might have Textar or Pagid, the next week we have ATE, we are also getting Bosch brand brake pads with Textar inside the box, they are also certainly buying them from TMD friction.

Can I mix brands front & rear?

You may have Textar or “Porsche” brake pads on the front of your car and Pagid brand fitted to the rear of the car, as long as the friction material is to the original equipment quality this should not be a problem.
