Important to know….
The details of the kit have less to do with the year of the body than with the configuration of the engine residing in the body. There are no particular years and models that take a particular kit. For instance, some customers with 3.0 911 SC’s want 40’s and some want 46’s. Some 2.0 liter race cars run 50mm PMO carbs. And the body of the race car could originally be from the 2.7 (74’-77’) era.
The kits will fit all the way up to 88’-89’ or all the air cooled engines.
If the body is later than ‘74 then a new exhaust system must be installed. If the distributor has vacuum (later than 71’ for the most part) then the distributor needs recurving (and probable rebuilding).
We need to know all the details of the engine and body (power brakes, air conditioning,year, model, etc.) and use of the package. We need to know the details of the engine and mods to the engine.
You need to have someone with mechanical experience with carbureted 911’s ordering & fitting these kits as the question and answer sheet will need to be filled out correctly.
