Porsche has made 3 super cars over its lifetime. The first being the 959, a car that shocked the world with how it advanced it was for the time, the Carrera GT which was powered by a race bread V10 that was paired to a manual transmission, and this car, the 918.
The 918 almost redefined Porsche, and it showed what they could do with an open checkbook. The car laid the groundwork for Porsches interested in electric and hybrid technology, and it also showed the world that a hybrid car didn’t have to be boring or dull, it could be a V8 making 800+ horsepower.
This 918 is painted in Rhodium silver, a rather bright shade for the car, as most 918 examples were painted in black, white, or grey. So, seeing a colour like this is a nice refreshing bonus. This car isn’t fitted with the Weissach Package. This gave the car lighter wheels, deleted the A/C and added some new interior trim, seeing a car without this pack is somewhat of a rare sight.
