Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid 2020

The fastest Porsche SUV is on the horizon. That’s right, a plug-in. It utilises the Cayenne Turbos 541-HP, twin-turbo V-8. This means that the new hybrid delivers 670HP and 663LB – FT of torque meaning that this big Porsche can hit top speeds of 18mph, and it can reach 60mph in 3.6 seconds. An impressive feat for any SUV to achieve.

This is far from an electric experiment. Porsche wants half of its sales to come from electrified vehicles and their commitment to achieving this is clear. The first-ever fully electric Porsche Macan is due to hit the streets in 2022. And after that, an all-electric Cayenne is sure to follow.

The Turbo S E-Hybrid, which starts at $163,250 is strong evidence that Porsche is doubling down on Electric.
