Trade trip highlights included London brewery visits, a tour of Design911 HQ and a party at The Lounge by Design911. We invited some of our top-spending trade customers to join us for 48 hours of hospitality, conversation and a closer look at our business.
It was our way of saying thank you to the workshops and specialists who choose Design911 to support their work. From daily servicing to complete restorations, these businesses help keep Porsches on the road.
The trip gave everyone time to step away from the workshop, meet fellow specialists and spend time with the people behind their parts orders.

A Trade trip to say thank you
Strong trade relationships develop over years of working together. They grow through phone calls, technical questions, urgent orders and shared projects. However, busy workshop schedules can leave little time to meet in person.
Our exclusive Trade trip created that opportunity. We wanted to recognise the support of our top-spending trade customers and treat them to an experience outside their usual working day.
The group brought together a range of skills. Guests included people working in independent Porsche workshops, restoration businesses, bodywork and specialist technical services. Each had a different story to tell, but all understood the demands of looking after customers’ cars.
For us, it was a chance to listen, catch up and celebrate the relationships behind our Porsche parts business.

Exploring London together
London provided plenty of opportunities to relax and get to know one another. Guests explored Camden Market, visited bars and enjoyed brewery visits with tasting sessions. Good food and plenty of laughs helped make the experience memorable.
For people used to spending their days diagnosing faults or managing restoration projects, the change of pace was welcome. One guest explained that opportunities to enjoy this kind of hospitality were rare, as trips away usually centred on technical work.
Others spoke about feeling thoroughly looked after throughout the visit. The food, experiences and time together all contributed to a trip that felt special.
There was also room for conversations between businesses. Guests met fellow specialists and made contacts they felt could lead to useful working relationships. Those informal introductions were a valuable part of the London experience.

Behind the scenes at Design911 HQ
Back at our Design911 headquarters, Sam and the team welcomed guests for a warehouse tour. It gave customers a closer look at the operation behind the orders they place every week.
Several visitors commented on the scale of the business. Although they knew our team well through regular calls, seeing the warehouse in person offered a different perspective. One guest simply said they had not realised it was so big.
The visit also gave customers time to meet the people they normally speak to on the phone. Putting faces to familiar voices made the relationship feel even more personal.
For long-standing customers, the tour was a chance to see how Design911 had grown. Their feedback reflected an appreciation of both that progress and the team supporting it.

What reliable parts supply means to a workshop
Throughout the Trade trip, customers spoke about the practical value of reliable parts supply. Their comments covered technical knowledge, product choice, delivery and the friendly service they receive from our team.
One customer described placing an order late on a Tuesday afternoon and receiving it the following morning in the North West. Others said our deliveries had sometimes arrived faster than those from suppliers closer to their workshops.
These were individual experiences, but they showed why dependable service matters. A missing component can delay a repair, interrupt a restoration or leave a customer waiting for their car.
Guests also valued being able to discuss what they needed with knowledgeable people. Finding the right Porsche parts is easier when the supplier understands the job and can help answer technical questions.

A closer look at quality and collaboration
The HQ visit prompted conversations about the work behind aftermarket parts. One guest welcomed the chance to learn more about the technology involved, alongside sourcing, quality, warranty and aftercare.
Another described an ongoing relationship built around feedback on which products worked for their technical department. That exchange helps connect parts supply with the experience of the people fitting and using those components.
These discussions were a useful reminder of why close relationships matter. Workshops bring practical knowledge from the cars they see every day. Listening to that experience helps us understand their needs and continue supporting their work.

Celebrating at The Lounge by Design911
The Trade trip also included a party at The Lounge by Design911. Welcoming our guests into the new space gave us another opportunity to spend time together and celebrate their support.
After exploring London and touring HQ, the gathering continued the relaxed atmosphere of the visit. It brought customers and the Design911 team together beyond their usual conversations about parts and projects.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us, shared their experiences and helped make the trip so enjoyable. Your continued support means a great deal to our team.
