When you think of the Porsche brand, your mind goes straight to some of the best performing cars on the road, such as the 911 GT3, 718 GT4 or the 918. But some of the other models in the Porsche range are just as noticeable, one of these being the Taycan.

The Taycan is the brand’s first full electric car, and it’s rather good for a first attempt. The car has out-performed cars from rival brands, not just in a straight line, but on a racetrack. Another feature of the Taycan is that it can do accelerations all day long, without the battery overheating. A true feat in an electric car.

If we look at the Panamera model line-up, you will see 2 body styles. Regular saloon and Estate. And Porsche thought it was about time they bring the estate body style to the Taycan, making it one of the first fully electric estate cars. The car has been named “Taycan cross turismo” vs the Sport turismo nameplate that appears on the Panamera. This is because the car has been given more off-roading credentials than the Panamera. The car has been tested in every possible condition, meaning Porsche have racked up over 998,000KM while testing the car, enough to circle the globe 25 times. The car also has an increased ride height as well as plastic cladding to protect it from the elements.

Would you have the Long roof Taycan VS a normal sedan? We are expecting the car to come out later this year, and be offered in all the expected trims, such as Turbo S and 4S. So, the car will still be insane to drive.
