Radio Surround Trim

The OE Match Radio Surround Trim is a replacement dashboard finishing component designed for the Porsche 356 Pre-A.

Fits:

• Porsche 356 Pre-A 1951-1954

This trim frame surrounds the radio installation area, providing a neat, original-style appearance. Ideal for classic Porsche restorations, it helps maintain the period-correct look of the early 356 dashboard.

What Does It Do?

The radio surround provides a finishing frame around the dashboard radio opening, helping conceal exposed edges and create a tidy, factory-style appearance.

Why Does It Deteriorate?

Common causes include:

• Age-related wear and damage
• Scratches or surface deterioration
• Damage during radio removal
• Incorrectly fitted replacement radios
• Missing or previously modified trim

When Should It Be Replaced?

Replace the surround if the original is damaged, missing or no longer fits correctly. It is also an ideal replacement during dashboard restoration or period-correct radio installation.

Installation Notes

Inspect the dashboard opening and radio mounting arrangement before fitting. Ensure the trim is correctly positioned without damaging the surrounding dashboard finish.
