The Adapt Motorsport 996 GT3 intake manifold adapter kit connects a GT3 manifold to compatible air-cooled Porsche 964 and 993 engines. Its compact, CNC-machined aluminium adapters are tapered to match the selected cylinder-head port with the manifold’s 49mm bore and comes with fuel rails.

What This Product Does

The kit provides the physical transition required to install 996 GT3 intake manifolds on compatible three-bolt air-cooled cylinder heads. Its short design limits the total height of the intake assembly, helping to reduce potential interference around the idle-air control components, intake boot and engine-bay insulation.

The injector is positioned over the original relief in the intake port. The adapters also provide mounting provisions for Adapt Motorsport fuel rails when the appropriate fuel-rail configuration is selected.

Injector Compatibility

The supplied fuel-rail spacer posts accommodate long-body Bosch EV1, EV6 and EV14 injectors. Markings on the posts allow them to be shortened for compatible medium- or short-length injectors. All injectors must use 14mm O-ring fittings.

GT3 intake manifolds, rubber joiners, fuel injectors and hose clamps are not included. An advanced single fuel-rail option with an integrated pressure regulator and damper is available only with compatible adapter and fuel-rail kit configurations.

Power-Steering Compatibility

Versions identified as “No PS” are intended for installations without a hydraulic power-steering pump, including suitable G-model conversions or vehicles using electric power steering. No PS adapters will not fit a Porsche 964 or 993 while its hydraulic power-steering pump remains installed.

The adapter diameter should correspond with the measured cylinder-head port. Correct selection provides the intended transition into the head, while the appropriate height, injector arrangement and power-steering clearance allow the converted intake assembly to be installed as designed.
