Air conditioning condenser, rear.
The Porsche Genuine OE Rear Air Conditioning Condenser (Part No. 93057305301) is designed for the Porsche 911 Turbo (930) models from 1984–1989. Mounted in the rear section of the vehicle, this condenser forms a key part of the classic Porsche air conditioning system, helping dissipate heat from the refrigerant before it returns to the evaporator circuit. Porsche identifies this unit as a rear condenser for Turbo models.

Fits:
Porsche 911 Turbo 1984 - 1989

Diagram ref No 2

The condenser cools and condenses the refrigerant gas coming from the A/C compressor, converting it into high-pressure liquid refrigerant for circulation through the air conditioning system. On Porsche 930 Turbo models, the rear condenser is mounted within the engine compartment area and works alongside the front condenser to improve cooling efficiency in the compact rear-engined layout.

Functions & Technical Role
•  Heat dissipation: Removes heat from compressed refrigerant gas
•  Refrigerant conversion: Converts refrigerant from gas to liquid state
•  Air conditioning efficiency: Supports stable cabin cooling performance
•  Turbo-specific cooling layout: Designed for rear-mounted installation on 930 Turbo models
•  OEM precision: Manufactured to Porsche specifications for exact fitment and durability

Fitment / Position on car
•   Fitting position: Rear
•   Location: Rear engine compartment / rear A/C condenser assembly
•   System: Air conditioning / climate control refrigerant circuit

A/C condensers are exposed to:
•   Heat cycles
•   Road debris and corrosion
•   Internal refrigerant pressure

Over time, condensers can become blocked, corroded, or develop leaks, leading to:
•   Weak or warm air conditioning performance
•   Refrigerant loss Increased compressor load
•   Reduced cooling efficiency

Replacing with a genuine Porsche OE condenser restores proper A/C performance and preserves originality in classic Turbo models.
