Akrapovic Slip-On Line Titanium Exhaust System for Porsche 997 GT2  ❭  S-PO997GT2SO2

This car exhibits Porsche's advanced technology, which is demonstrated in its ceramic composite brakes, maximum engine power with twin turbines, and variable turbine geometry, but especially in its uncompromising lightweight components. The GT2 is the first Porsche to be factory equipped with a titanium exhaust system. We developed a real "sport exhaust version" for this super sports car. Our requirements were very simple: a lighter, more powerful, and better sounding exhaust system. Two high-flow 100 cpsi metallic cats, larger tube diameters-measuring not 55 but 60 mm-and reduced power-consuming back pressure. This resulted in a power increase, a torque increase, and weight savings. Complete the look with a set of exquisite titanium tailpipes.

Performance:

Because of comfort, durability and strict noise requirements regarding the exhaust system, some compromise had to be made. This was reason enough for us to develop a real "sports exhaust version" for this supercar. Our requirements were very simple: a lighter, more powerful and better sounding exhaust system. Two hiflow 100 cpsi metallic cats, larger tube diameters, measuring not 55, but 60 mm and reduced the power-consuming backpressure. This resulted in a power increase of 37,7 HP, a torque increase of 67,8 Nm and weight savings of 1,58 kg, compared to the stock system.
