They are available for the left and right rear side positions and are sold individually, allowing the correct side to be replaced as required.

Porsche 911 1965 - 1977
Porsche 930 Turbo 3.0L 1975 - 1977
Diagram ref no: 14
The rear drop link connects the rear anti-roll bar to the suspension assembly. It transfers suspension movement to the anti-roll bar, helping reduce body roll during cornering and supporting stable rear axle handling. A good rear drop link is important for correct anti-roll bar operation and predictable suspension response.
Functions
• Connects the rear anti-roll bar / stabiliser bar to the suspension
• Helps reduce body roll during cornering
• Supports rear suspension stability and handling control
• Helps maintain correct anti-roll bar function
• Replaces worn, loose, bent, corroded, or damaged rear drop links
• Helps reduce knocking or rattling from the rear suspension
• OE Match replacement for classic Porsche suspension repair or restoration.
Why Replace This Part?
Rear drop links are exposed to road dirt, moisture, suspension load, corrosion, and constant movement. Over time, the joints, bushes, or link body can wear, loosen, seize, or become damaged. A worn rear drop link may cause knocking noises, excessive body roll, vague handling, uneven suspension response, or failed inspection. Replacing the drop link helps restore correct anti-roll bar function and rear suspension control.
When to Replace This Part
• Knocking, rattling, or clunking is heard from the rear suspension
• The drop link joint or bush is worn, loose, cracked, or damaged
• The link is bent, rusty, seized, or broken
• Rear body roll feels excessive during cornering
• The anti-roll bar or rear suspension is being serviced
• The vehicle has failed inspection due to suspension play
• The car is undergoing Porsche 911 or 930 suspension restoration
Where it fits on the car
These drop links fit on the rear anti-roll bar / stabiliser bar assembly on Porsche 911 and 930 models. One version is used for the left rear side and the other for the right rear side, depending on the part selected.
