The DesignTek stainless steel downpipe set is a performance-oriented replacement for selected Porsche Macan 3.0-litre and 3.6-litre turbocharged models. Supplied as a matched right-hand and left-hand pair, the downpipes connect the turbochargers to the remaining exhaust system and incorporate high-flow 200-CPSI catalytic converters.

Compared with more restrictive standard catalyst sections, the 200-CPSI design provides a freer path for exhaust gases while retaining catalytic exhaust-gas treatment. This can help reduce back pressure, improve turbocharger response and produce a deeper, more pronounced exhaust note without using a complete catalyst-bypass arrangement.

Each catalytic converter measures approximately Ø110 × 80H × 90L mm and is specified to a Euro 3 standard. The downpipes are supplied without external heat-resistant shielding, providing a clean stainless steel finish and making careful inspection of the vehicle’s original heat shields and surrounding components especially important during installation.

Sports catalytic converters and bypass pipes do not have type approval and are not legally permitted for use on vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001 in the United Kingdom.
