This front strut upper mount is inspired by Porsche 968 ADAC GT race car. The reproduction item is similar to the original part which has never been available commercially. Item is assembled with maintenance free, high quality motorsport bearing.
NOTE: Stock height of the bearing with flanges is 31mm.
Upgrade your vehicle's suspension with this high-performance monoball top mount, designed as a direct replacement for the original OE top mount. By replacing the compliant rubber bushing with a precision spherical bearing (monoball), unwanted suspension deflection is significantly reduced, providing a more direct connection between the suspension and chassis.
The result is improved suspension rigidity, sharper steering response, and more precise handling, allowing the suspension geometry to remain more consistent under high cornering and braking loads. This makes monoball top mounts an ideal upgrade for performance driving and motorsport applications where maximum steering precision and chassis feedback are desired.
Please note that, due to the elimination of the original rubber isolation, increased road noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) will be transmitted into the cabin. Ride comfort will be reduced, and suspension noise may become more noticeable during normal road use.
