When lifting a 955/957 Cayenne more than 2.5 inches, you will likely introduce more positive camber that can not be adjusted out with OEM upper control arms. We’ve designed these specifically to address that issue, then beefed them up with DOM tubing, spherical MOOG HD ball joints, and 70a durometer polyurethane bushings with built-in grease fittings.
We have tested these extensively under extreme off-road conditions with a zero failure rate. In addition to fixing alignment issues on lifted vehicles, these are stronger than OEM units and have significantly improved driving characteristics on & off road to allow for increased articulation - all with almost no change to in-cabin noise/vibration/harshness.
MOOG HD Ball Joints.
Designed for Baja Trucks and Pre-Runners, MOOG HD ball joints are built to last in the toughest conditions and under the toughest use, and greatly exceed OEM Porsche ball joint strength. Design allows for simple replacement with a shop press or portable ball joint remover, and includes a grease fitting for easy lubrication without the need for disassembly.
70a Durometer Polyurethane Bushings.
Stock rubber bushings act like little springs at each suspension pivot point, allowing suspension geometry changes under load, and causing unwanted handling characteristics like steering wader, binding, lack of suspension/steering feedback, and unpredictable changes to camber, caster, and toe.
Polyurethane bushings are a popular upgrade for on & off road performance because they don’t bind or flex under load, eliminating all of the issues that rubber bushings face with minimal changes in noise, vibration, and harshness. The lack of binding & flex also allows for added articulation without shock or strut changes.
Integrated Grease Fittings.
Integrated grease fittings on the inner and outer bushings allow for significantly easier lubrication, eliminating the need to completely disassemble the control arms.
Premium Lubricants.
Our Tubular Upper Control Arms ship fully assembled and pre-lubricated with premium lube. We also include premium lube in the box, to lubricate the steel pins prior to installation to eliminate bushing squeak.
