Right Rear Indicator Lens

Please note: This lens must be purchased as a pair with the matching Left Rear Indicator Lens (96463190711) to ensure both sides match in colour and appearance.

Installation Tip

The original lens is permanently bonded to the lamp housing, but it can be removed carefully.

A proven method is to heat the complete lamp in an oven at 100°C for 7-8 minutes to soften the adhesive before removing the old lens. Alternatively, carefully soften the welded edge using a soldering iron.

When fitting the new lens, ensure a complete watertight seal around the edge to prevent future moisture ingress.

What Does the Indicator Lens Do?

The indicator lens protects the lamp unit while allowing the amber indicator signal to remain bright and clearly visible. It also helps keep dirt and moisture away from the bulb and reflector.
