Our patented Faultless Wrist Pin Clip Installation Tool allows for easy re-assembly of M96 and M97 engines, simplifying the delicate process of wrist pin clip installation and preventing the dreaded launched clips that make even seasoned engine builders hate assembling these engines! Preventing a single lost clip or protecting from complete engine failure due to improper clip installation more than offsets the cost of this tool. U.S. Patent 10,267,419.

Note: The Faultless Tools Wrist Pin Clip Installation Tool is designed to work with wrist pin clips that do not have the tang. If using stock pistons and wrist pin clips, you need to remove the tang by grinding it off. Interesting bit of trivia - the 1997 2.5 Boxster engine did not have tangs on its wrist pin clips!
