The OE MATCH Rear Main Crankshaft Oil Seal is a engine sealing component designed to provide a reliable oil-tight seal between the rear of the crankshaft and the engine block on compatible Porsche engines. This rear main seal prevents engine oil from escaping at the crankshaft exit point while allowing smooth crankshaft rotation, ensuring optimum lubrication and long-term engine reliability.

Why Replacement Matters:

  • The rear main crankshaft oil seal operates in one of the most demanding areas of the engine, sealing against a continuously rotating crankshaft while being exposed to high temperatures, oil pressure and constant thermal cycling.
