Diagram ref no 15

The oil splash valve is fitted within the engine crankcase as part of the internal lubrication system. It provides a controlled oil supply to the relevant internal engine area, helping support reliable lubrication during engine operation. It is particularly suitable for engine rebuilds where the original valves are damaged, blocked, worn or being renewed as part of a complete crankcase overhaul.

What this part does

  • Forms part of the internal engine oil system
  • Helps direct and control engine oil flow
  • Supports lubrication of internal engine components
  • Contributes to effective internal engine cooling
  • Suitable for engine rebuild and crankcase servicing
  • Replaces damaged, blocked or deteriorated original valves
  • OE Match replacement for classic Porsche engine applications.

Why Replace This Part?
Oil splash valves operate within the engine lubrication system and can become contaminated or damaged over time. During an engine rebuild, their condition should be checked to ensure that oil can flow correctly through the intended lubrication points.

A blocked or damaged valve may reduce effective oil delivery to the associated internal components.
