Ideal for replacing pitted, corroded, scratched or damaged original trim during routine maintenance or classic Porsche restoration.

What Does the Chrome Trim Frame Do?

The chrome trim frame surrounds the teardrop rear light lens, providing a decorative finishing detail and helping maintain the original appearance of the lamp assembly.

It also forms part of the lens mounting arrangement, ensuring the rear light assembly retains its correct original-style presentation.

Why Does It Fail?

Over time, chrome trim can deteriorate due to moisture, road salt, oxidation and general ageing.

Common problems include pitting, corrosion, scratches, peeling chrome and distortion caused by impact or incorrect installation.

When Should It Be Replaced?

Replacement is recommended when the original frame is heavily pitted, corroded, bent or damaged.

It is also worth replacing worn chrome surrounds when fitting new rear light lenses, seals or restoring the vehicle's exterior trim.

Suitable for vehicles equipped with the corresponding teardrop-style rear light assemblies. Confirm the original lamp design before ordering.
