Technical Details

Component: detachable Targa roof locating peg.
Appearance: transparent.
Brand: OE Match.
Supplied reference identifiers: 90156521642 and 1688001800.

Symptoms of Fault

Poor panel alignment, squeaking or rattling can prompt inspection of the roof locating components. These symptoms do not establish that the peg is faulty: the latches, seals and adjoining fittings should also be checked.

Why Replacement Matters

Renewing a damaged or missing locating peg helps restore the intended roof positioning arrangement. Water ingress and wind noise can have several causes, so replacing this component alone should not be assumed to resolve a sealing problem.
