What This Part Does / Functions
•  Helps locate the brake fluid reservoir correctly
•  Supports the reservoir at the brake master cylinder / hydraulic assembly
•  Helps reduce vibration and movement around the reservoir mounting point
•   Maintains correct factory fitment of the brake fluid reservoir
•   Replaces a worn, hardened, cracked or missing original rubber bush
•   Helps prevent looseness or rattling around the reservoir
•   Provides correct OE Porsche rubber profile and fitment
•   Supports proper reassembly during brake hydraulic system service.

Why Replace This Part?
Rubber reservoir bushes can harden, crack, compress or deteriorate with age, heat, brake fluid exposure and repeated removal. A worn or missing bush can allow the brake fluid reservoir to sit incorrectly, move excessively or fail to locate properly in the mounting point. Replacing it with an OE Genuine Porsche brake fluid reservoir bush helps restore the correct reservoir support and factory mounting arrangement.

Common Symptoms of a Worn Brake Fluid Reservoir Bush
•   Loose or poorly seated brake fluid reservoir
•   Cracked, hardened or missing rubber bush
•   Reservoir movement or vibration
•   Difficulty refitting the reservoir correctly
•   Fluid reservoir not sitting squarely in the mounting area
•   Rubber deterioration found during brake system service
•   Missing bush after previous brake master cylinder work
•   Age-related wear during restoration inspection.

When to Replace This Part
•   When removing or refitting the brake fluid reservoir
•   During brake master cylinder replacement
•   During brake fluid reservoir replacement
•   If the original bush is cracked, hardened, compressed or missing
•   During brake hydraulic system overhaul
•   If the reservoir is loose or not correctly seated
•   When restoring a Porsche 964 or 993 braking system

Where It Fits on the Car
This bush fits in the brake fluid reservoir / brake master cylinder assembly. It helps support and locate the brake fluid reservoir in the hydraulic brake system area.
Correct seating is important to ensure the reservoir is securely mounted and aligned with the related brake hydraulic components.
