The 10 L reserve canister is some of the most important rally equipment and should always be on hand, especially on tours in sparsely populated regions.
Its typical design, the grey paint finish and the striking "PORSCHE" logo perfectly match the robust look of the 911 Dakar. Both the canister and the filler funnel are made of thick sheet metal and withstand high mechanical demands.
Of course, true rally enthusiasts transport their petrol canisters in the roof cage in style. A special canister holder with an easy-to-open latching clip is available for this. This too is made of stable sheet metal and is additionally protected against weathering and oxidation by a robust, matte black powder coating. The canister can be protected against theft with a padlock.
Note: Country-specific regulations apply to the carriage of fuel in a fuel canister. These must be observed.
