Inspired by the famous Recaro Ideal seat fitted to period Porsche and other German sports coupés, the Sport S combines authentic vintage styling with a newly manufactured, stronger seat frame and carefully reproduced foam profile.

Supplied as a un-upholstered seat frame kit, it gives you the freedom to have the upholstery completed locally in your choice of leather, vinyl, fabric or period-correct material.

The Retro Trim Sport S takes inspiration from this iconic design, carefully recreating the characteristic proportions and foam shape associated with the original seat.

Moulds have been produced specifically for the seat foam to ensure each Sport S maintains a consistent shape and profile.

Rather than using an original-style frame construction, the Sport S uses sturdy square-section steel tubing to create a strong foundation for the finished seat.

The seat frame kit is supplied with Oval-style headrests, helping complete the classic late-1960s and early-1970s appearance.
