What This Product Does

The shaped seat base and substantial side bolsters help hold the driver and passenger in position through corners. A low mounting profile provides useful headroom for taller occupants, while adjustable backrests and a folding function make the seats practical for classic Porsche road interiors.

Functions

  • Supports the occupant using a contoured base and pronounced side bolsters
  • Provides a low seating position within the cabin
  • Accommodates 4-, 5- and 6-point belt arrangements through integrated slots
  • Allows backrest angle adjustment through a rotary-wheel mechanism
  • Folds forward to help provide access behind the front seats
  • Replaces deteriorated seating with a period-inspired sports-seat design

Technical Details

  • Model: Sport-Stradale

  • Trim: black leatherette with black basket-weave centre panels
  • Construction: coated tubular steel frame with fire-resistant foam padding

Symptoms of Fault

  • Upholstery with splits, fading, loose stitching or worn surfaces
  • Compressed padding that has lost its shape or support
  • Movement caused by loose frames, runners or mounting points
  • Reclining or folding mechanisms that stick or fail to hold position
  • Noise from worn seat rails, brackets or fixings
  • Corrosion or damage affecting the frame and attachment hardware

Why Replacement Matters

Replacing badly worn seats can restore consistent occupant support, reliable adjustment and the presentation of a classic Porsche cabin. These Sport-Stradale seats also suit period-style interior conversions where a high-back sports-seat profile is preferred. Correct rails, adaptors and fasteners should be used for the specific vehicle, and all mounting points should be checked before installation.

FAQs

  • Does the set include two seats?
Yes. It contains left- and right-hand seat configurations.
  • Are multi-point harnesses compatible?
The seat design includes openings for 4-, 5- and 6-point belt configurations. The complete restraint system must be suitable for the vehicle and its intended use.
  • Are runners and mounting adaptors supplied?
No. Appropriate seat rails, vehicle-specific adaptors and mounting hardware must be obtained separately.
  • Can the original seats be stored for later refitting?
Yes. Retaining the original seats, rails and fixings can allow the previous interior specification to be reinstated.
  • Should the mountings be inspected during installation?
Yes. Check the floor mounting points, rails, brackets and fasteners for wear, damage or corrosion before fitting the replacement seats.
