Designed as a complete performance exhaust solution for the naturally aspirated 3.6L and 3.8L Porsche 997.1 Carrera, the package improves exhaust-gas flow from the cylinder heads through to the rear outlets while producing a deeper, more purposeful sports exhaust note.

Rather than upgrading only one section of the exhaust, this package replaces the major restrictive components throughout the system, making it particularly suitable for performance road builds, track cars and vehicles undergoing a complete exhaust-system overhaul.

200-Cell High-Flow Sports Catalysts

The DesignTek 3606109977 sports catalytic converter set uses high-quality German-manufactured 200-cell, 40G-loaded catalyst cores.

The larger approximately 63.5 mm / 2.5-inch bore is designed to provide greater gas-flow capacity than the standard system while retaining catalytic converter construction.

The system tapers down to meet the original 54 mm pipework, helping simplify installation.

Mandrel-bent pipework is used to maintain smooth internal bends and promote efficient flow through the system.

Compared with the standard catalysts, the DesignTek 200-cell units are designed to provide:

• Increased exhaust-gas flow
