TAG Heuer Watch Carrera Porsche Heuer 02 Automatic Chronograph.

After a long anticipated wait, the two powerhouses of the motorsport world, TAG Heuer and Porsche, have finally combined their talents to bring us the new TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Chronograph watch. Their passions for performance, precision and innovation have become synonymous with the Carrera name, TAG Heuer for its namesake watch collection and Porsche for its powerful engine named the 911 Carrera. It is this very motor that inspires the TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Chronograph 02 Automatic Chronograph dressed in the trademark colours of red, black and grey.

Measuring to 44mm in diameter, the stainless steel case of the TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Special Edition features a handsome black ceramic tachymeter bezel decorated with the Porsche name in red paired with a red detailed crown and piston-style pushers for controlling the chronograph. At its centre, a unique asphalt grey dial has been purposely engineered to evoke the same gritty surfaces of racecourses while black snailed counters for small seconds, 12 hours and 30 minutes deliver exceptional chronograph function. Fuelling each of the functions on the dial is the Heuer 02 automatic winding movement with a healthy power reserve of 80 hours, 33 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The integrated architecture of the movement with column wheel and vertical clutch has been modified slightly to include a newly designed oscillating rotor that looks like the steering wheel of a Porsche 911 Carrera. The movement can be seen through the sapphire crystal glass back which also helps deliver a water resistant rating of 100 metres.
