The OE Match Vent Window Seal is a replacement rubber sealing frame for the opening front vent window fitted to selected early Porsche 911 and 912 Targa models.

Mounted around the perimeter of the small opening vent glass, the seal creates a flexible weather-resistant barrier between the glass and its surrounding frame. Its job is to help keep rainwater, wind and road contamination outside the cabin while allowing the vent window to open and close correctly.

Over time, the original rubber can harden, flatten, crack or shrink as a result of UV exposure, heat, cold and repeated compression. Once the seal loses its elasticity, it may no longer sit firmly against the glass, resulting in water leaks, wind noise, rattling or poor vent-window closure.

Replacing a deteriorated vent-window seal helps restore weather protection, reduce cabin noise and preserve the fit and appearance of the original Targa window assembly.
