What This Product Does

The kit provides replacement service components for refurbishing a Zenith 32 NDIX carburettor. Symptoms of Fault

  • Difficult starting or frequent stalling
  • Uneven idle or persistent misfiring
  • Hesitation or a flat spot during acceleration
  • Fuel smells, seepage or visible drips
  • Rich running accompanied by dark exhaust smoke
  • Lean popping or backfiring

Why Replacement Matters

Carburettor seals and internal service parts can harden, wear or become contaminated after prolonged use or storage. Refurbishing the unit can help correct leakage, sticking components and inaccurate fuel delivery. After installation, the carburettors should be checked for fuel pressure, mixture and synchronisation to support smooth running and balanced operation.

FAQs

  • How many kits are required?
One kit is needed for each carburettor. A twin-carburettor installation normally requires two kits.
  • Does the kit include the accelerator pump plunger?
Yes, an accelerator pump plunger is included.
  • Is adjustment required after fitting?
Yes. Carburettor synchronisation, mixture adjustment and a fuel-pressure check are recommended after refurbishment.
  • Can this help with poor idle or hesitation?
It may help when the symptoms are caused by worn, leaking or contaminated carburettor components. The fuel and ignition systems should also be inspected.
