Diagram Ref No 26

Constructed from durable, wear-resistant materials, the clevis pin is designed to withstand repeated movement, load cycles and vibration associated with normal clutch operation. Despite its small size, it is an essential component for maintaining smooth clutch engagement, reliable pedal feel and consistent transmission performance.

What This Product Does:

Connects the clutch cable to the clutch pedal or linkage assembly.
Transfers clutch pedal movement to the clutch operating mechanism.
Maintains correct clutch cable alignment.
Allows smooth pivoting movement within the linkage system.
Supports consistent clutch engagement and disengagement.
Helps maintain accurate clutch pedal operation.
Contributes to reliable clutch system performance.

Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:

Excessive play in the clutch pedal.
Loose or inconsistent clutch pedal feel.
Difficulty engaging or disengaging the clutch.
Increased free play within the clutch linkage.
Rattling noises from the pedal assembly area.
Uneven clutch operation.
Visible wear, corrosion or deformation of the pin.
Clutch cable disconnection in severe cases.
Reduced clutch control and gear selection difficulties.

Why Replacement Matters:

The clutch cable clevis pin is subjected to constant movement and load every time the clutch pedal is operated. Over time, wear can develop on the pin surface, causing increased play within the linkage system. Corrosion, fatigue or physical damage can further compromise its performance and reliability.
A worn or damaged clevis pin can lead to imprecise clutch operation, excessive pedal movement and increased wear on surrounding linkage components. In severe cases, pin failure can result in loss of clutch control, making gear changes difficult or impossible and potentially leaving the vehicle inoperable.
Replacing a worn clutch cable clevis pin restores proper linkage function, improves clutch pedal feel and helps ensure reliable clutch operation. An OE Match replacement provides factory-style fitment, dependable durability and long service life, helping maintain the performance and reliability expected from your Porsche.

Damper swivel pin. Porsche 911 65-76

90008701103/1

Product Information

Damper swivel pin
damper swivel pin (or retaining pin) designed for mounting gas struts or dampers on the front bonnet or engine lid of the Porsche 911. secures the ball-joint or swivel bracket of the strut/damper in place, allowing controlled movement while ensuring the strut remains fastened under load. This is exact reproduction.
Sold as each.

Fits:
Porsche 911 1965 - 1976

Diagram ref no 11

This pin is inserted through the mounting bracket of the gas strut or damper and into the mounting point on the lid or hinge assembly. A circlip or cotter pin keeps it in place, allowing the strut to pivot correctly while ensuring secure retention. Without a solid pin, the strut could become loose or detached, compromising lid safety and function.

Over time, the pin can become corroded, bent, worn, or lost due to repeated strut motion, environmental exposure (moisture, road spray), and age. A compromised pin may lead to:
• The gas strut mounting becoming loose or detached
• Lid or bonnet not staying open reliably or dropping unexpectedly
• Increased wear on the strut bracket or hinge due to improper pivoting

Replace when:
• The original pin appears rusted, bent, or its retaining clip is missing
• You’re replacing or servicing the gas strut/damper on the bonnet or engine lid
• You’re restoring the bodywork or hinge/strut assembly and want correct, safe hardware

Porsche 993 (911) TURBO 1994-96

What This Product Does:

Supports and secures the brake line so it doesn’t move, rub against other components, or get damaged.
Helps prevent vibration, chafing, and wear of lines due to movement. When properly clipped, the brake line routing stays clean and safe.
Keeps the brake line fixed in correct position, preserving the correct shape/routing, which is important for safety and longevity.

When / How It Fails — Symptoms:

Brake line is loose, rattling or touching nearby moving parts or sharp surfaces.
Visible movement or sagging of the brake line, especially under load or rough roads.
Wear or damage (nicks, grooves) appear on the brake line where it’s rubbing against something due to a missing or broken clip.
Corrosion or breakage of the clip itself, meaning it no longer holds the line securely.
Unusual brake noises or vibration if line movement interferes with suspension or other components.

Why Replacement Matters:

Prevents damage to the brake line, which is a critical safety component.
A worn/rubbing line can fail, leak or burst.
Ensures the brake line stays in place, preserving correct routing and avoiding interference with moving suspension or body parts.
Helps maintain braking performance, safety, and reliability.
