The Adapt Motorsport Advanced Fuel Rail Kit integrates fuel-pressure regulation and damping for Porsche 964 and 993 applications. It simplifies custom fuel-hose arrangements by reducing the number of separate components, fittings and potential leak points.

What This Product Does

The integrated Bosch regulator module controls fuel pressure while the damper helps suppress pressure waves created as the injectors open and close. Managing these pulsations supports more consistent fuel control and removes the need to mount separate regulator and damper units elsewhere in the fuel system.

Technical Details

• Standard regulator pressure: 3.8 bar
• Alternative regulator pressures available from 3.0 to 4.0 bar
• Single configuration: one advanced rail with regulator and damper, plus one standard rail
• Dual configuration: two advanced rails with two regulators and dampers
• ORB ports use O-ring sealing and are supplied with AN6 JIC fittings and rail-end plugs
• Stated regulator flow capacity: 200 lph for a single regulator or 400 lph for the dual system

Why Replacement Matters

This system is intended for custom fuel-system installations where integrated pressure regulation and damping can provide a cleaner, less complex arrangement. The Bosch regulator modules are replaceable, allowing pressure specification changes or future servicing without replacing the complete rail assembly.

Installation Notes

• Custom-made fuel lines are required.
• The dual-regulator version requires a more complex hose arrangement than the single-regulator system.
• The manufacturer states that a Bosch 044 pump’s 275 lph flow exceeds the 200 lph limit of a single regulator; the complete fuel-system specification must therefore be matched to the selected configuration.
• Fasteners and manifold adapters are included when the Carrera 3.2 version is selected.

FAQs

• Can the regulator be replaced?
  Yes. The kit uses replaceable Bosch regulator modules, allowing servicing or a change to another available pressure rating.
• What is the difference between the single and dual versions?
  The single version combines one advanced regulator-and-damper rail with one standard rail. The dual version uses two advanced rails and provides a stated combined regulator capacity of 400 lph.
• Are standard Porsche fuel lines retained?
  No. Adapt Motorsport specifies that custom-made fuel lines are required for this kit.

Fuel Pressure Control Unit, AN-6 Hose Fittings

A PMO exclusive, this pressure control unit eliminates the need to change fuel pumps when converting MFI and CIS Injected Systems and indicates the fuel pressure the system is running at. The unit is connected to the feed and return circuits and the fuel pressure is controlled by restricting the flow back to the tank. The flow back to the tank is controlled by the adjustable pressure valve.

This unit is preset with a running pressure of 3.0 to 4.0lbs of fuel pressure

A direct replacement for the  OEM Bosch fuel pressure regulators used in many Porsche, Volvo, Mercedes and other makes.

Our fuel pressure regulator uses the latest Bosch regulators and by default is shipped with a 3.8 bar regulator to be a direct replacement.  This simple and elegant design uses steel O-Ring boss sealing adapters to the manifold with multiple options for hose connections.

Our newly released fuel pressure regulator brackets mount to the Adapt Motorsport fuel pressure regulators to the engine breather cover bolts on top of the classic aircooled engines.  
The same as Porsche do for the 964.  

Manufactured from CNC machine aluminium and anodised in a dark silver colour, they really add a nice look to any classic Porsche engine bay.
