GT3 manifold electronic throttle conversion kit by Adapt Motorsport for naturally turbocharged, air-cooled Porsche 911 engines. Configurations are offered for three-bolt 964 turbo and 993 turbo applications.

What This Product Does

This conversion package uses large-volume 996 GT3-style intake hardware as the basis of an electronic throttle system for classic Porsche flat-six turbocharged engines. It combines the throttle body, fuel rails, intake adapters, resonance-flap hardware, pressure and temperature sensing, vacuum controls and associated fittings required to assemble the intake system.

• Controls intake airflow through a Bosch electronic throttle body
• Adapts GT3-style intake hardware to compatible air-cooled Porsche cylinder heads
• Supports long, medium or short EV14-style fuel injectors through configurable fuel-rail spacers
• Operates the resonance flap using a vacuum canister, solenoid and check valve
• Provides connections for brake-booster vacuum, idle-air bypass and other vacuum requirements
• Measures manifold pressure and intake-air temperature through a Bosch T-MAP sensor

Technical Details

• Based around 996 GT3-style intake manifolds with 49mm ports; the manufacturer lists 43mm for a standard 964 manifold and 39mm for a 3.2 manifold
• Bosch 82mm electronic throttle body supplied with connector kit
• Bosch 1.15-bar T-MAP sensor supplied as standard; a 3.0-bar version is offered as an option
• Three-bolt adapters are available with 42mm or 44mm ports for 964 and 993 turbo engines
• Adapt Motorsport manifolds are cast aluminium, while the resonance flap and intake T-piece are CNC-machined and black anodised

Configuration Information

Versions are available with or without a pair of Adapt Motorsport GT3 intake manifolds. Select the correct cylinder-head bolt pattern, adapter port diameter and manifold configuration for the engine. The optional cast-aluminium manifolds are designed around the shorter cylinder spacing of air-cooled Porsche 911 engines and include vacuum ports and discreet mounting points for wiring and control components.

• Is the electronic throttle body included? Yes. Every base kit includes a Bosch 82mm electronic throttle body and its connector kit.
• Are GT3 intake manifolds supplied? This depends on the chosen configuration. Versions are available both with and without a pair of Adapt Motorsport manifolds.
